TEKNO-OZ-EB CY construction is PVC conductors stranding in layers, wire SnCu braiding screen and outer jacket is blue PVC. These cables particularly use for the installation of instrinsically safe circuits, where a special marking of hazard type “I” (intrinsically safe) cables is specified. For appropriate use in a voltage range below 50 V AC or 75 V DC where according to EEC Guideline 73/237EWG (Low voltage directive) the CE mark is not mandatory.
NOTE: Intrinsically safe circuits means the places contains explosive materials can be exploded because of extreme heat or a spark.
